When Nicole contacted me about doing family photos in Banff, I was instantly in. The Rocky Mountains are every photographer’s dream location; it’s not possible to take a bad photo!
It was a bit of a windy, cold day in the mountains but nonetheless breathtaking. We set out with Nicole and Liam’s six-month-old daughter Arlo in tow, who has the widest eyes and rosiest cheeks you’ve ever seen.
We decided to shoot our session against the backdrop of Tunnel Mountain, which is in the Bow River Valley and also known as Sleeping Buffalo. The spot we chose offered stunning panoramic views of the mountain and was the perfect backdrop for this cozy fall session. Little Arlo was such a champ as she braved the cold, smiling and laughing with her parents and taking in her surroundings.
Editing this session was a breeze because there were just SO MANY amazing photos. One for the books for sure!
